Supply–Chain Performance Management: Metrics & Benchmarking

More than ever, companies demand measurable results from their supply chain investments. That's why supply chain executives must measure their supply chain performance and how the supply chain supports the overall enterprise's ability to achieve its strategic objectives. After all, you can't improve what you don't measure. In this track, attendees will learn how organizations plan, measure, and review their supply chain performance and business process improvements, and demonstrate the supply chain's operational and financial impact on the overall business. Session topics include methodologies and metrics for measuring supply chain performance and business process improvements, deploying supply chain management technology (such as supply chain event management), and the impact on organizational alignment and behavioral change.

Truly Great People — Applying Game Changing Strategies through Leadership, Change Management and Education

Successful strategy execution only happens through engaged people doing great things in the right place at the right time. Yet this critical human element of the integrated supply chain process is too frequently minimized or ignored. This track will showcase how the latest people–management strategies and practices are used to increase the productivity and contribution of the supply chain workforce and, in the process, get the greatest possible return from various supply chain management tools and techniques, including the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR®) model and other models.

New Challenges and Leading Practices

Today's changing global competitive landscape and increasingly demanding customers make it critical for companies to continuously improve the way they plan, source, make, and deliver their products. More than ever, companies face the need to give customers a greater variety of offerings, more tailored interactions, and better services — all more quickly and at a lower cost. Simultaneously, managers face emerging challenges in regulatory compliance, operational disruptions, transportation constraints, and security and sustainability. Speakers in this track speakers will share their experience in responding to these with leading supply chain practices, advanced tools and technologies, and transformation approaches leveraging SCOR, DCOR™, GreenSCOR, and SCORmark™.

Strategy to Execution — Implementing Strategic Supply Chain Change

Game–changing strategies are not static: the increasingly rapid pace of change in products, customers, competitors, and global markets require constant testing, evolution, and renewal of your business strategy. Industry leaders have the ability to rapidly align their supply chain strategy, configuration, and execution to enable their business strategy. Using SCOR, they are able to define the critical, strategic supply chain changes and projects, and by integrating SCOR with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, they are able tap a strong culture and capability to implement change at all levels. This track will highlight concepts and case studies of how leading companies have been able to integrate SCOR, Six Sigma, and Lean to create a seamless management system for defining and implementing strategic, game–changing supply chain change and improvement.
