21st Century Supply Chain:
Gateway to the Future

As supply chain professionals and leaders look to the future, it may seem an increasingly daunting task as natural disasters and political issues have greater impacts on global supply chains than ever - impacts that are out of the control of those who must manage the supply chains that keep the world humming. But we see everywhere the impact of brilliant supply chain leaders who do overcome the odds and can see a bright future. This is what supply chain professionals need to share and learn from, and to succeed.

Successful supply chain management requires a fully integrative approach: employees, processes, technology, functions, and even supply chain network partners need to be fully aligned and synchronized in order to build capability and thereby gain sustainable competitive advantage. Supply Chain Council is working to assemble this program as a gateway to the future success of supply chain professionals and future professionals everywhere.

Managing supply chains with SCOR is evolving and SCC is releasing the latest SCOR, version 11, after years of work and collaboration with members and industry volunteers. There is also a new system evolving for managing your whole supply chain with SCOR under the name M4SC.
